Day 1 Arrive Delhi
Upon Arrival at Delhi International Airport you are met and the Arrival Lounge and transferred to your pre-booked Hotel. Evening Visit the Lotus Temple or Akshardham Temple.
Swaminarayan Akshardham temple has intricately carved sculptures and statues of deities. Unlike traditional Hindu temples, however, this one (on the banks of the Yamuna River and spread over 100 acres) also features a 12 minute indoor boat-ride, a light and sound show, an Imax screen, a musical Fountain, and animatronics, -characters that recount the life and philosophy of Bhagwan Swaminarayan.

Day 2 Delhi
Morning start the city tour of Old Delhi visiting Rajghat (Cremations site of Mahatma Gandhi), Chandni Chowk - India's famous trading center. Drive past India's largest mosque Jama Maszid & Red Fort known as Lal Quila the place that marked announcement of India's freedom from Britisher's.
Afternoon your New Delhi City tour includes visit to Qutab Minar built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibek in 1199, Humayun's Tomb, India Gate (War Memorial Arch ) & Laksminarayan Temple - a modern Hindu Temple. Also drive past President House, Parliament House, Government Secretariat Buildings & Connaught Place the shopping centre.

Day 3 Delhi – Varanasi (By Flight)
Today you are transferred to Delhi Airport to board flight for Varanasi. Upon arrival at Varanasi Airport you are met with our representative and transferred to your pre-booked hotel In the afternoon proceed to the village of Sarnath on the outskirts of town. It was in this Deer Park that the Lord Buddha gave his first sermon. Visit the Park and Museum.. Sarnath was made a center of Buddhist worship by the emperor Ashoka in the 3rd century BC. We will visit the Main Shrine and Ashoka's Pillar. In the Archaeological Museum we will see the beautifully carved capital from the pillar along with many other priceless Buddhist artifacts. The highlight of this tour would be a participation in the evening Aarti (prayer service) at the main Buddhist temple here. Overnight at the Hotel
Day 4 Varanasi
Varanasi formerly known, as Banaras is the city where the Hindu followers came to bathe in the sacred waters of the Ganges. Early this morning get ready for a dawn boat ride on the River Ganges. The Ganges is the most sacred and venerated river in India. Besides the ritualistic aspect of Hinduism (thread ceremony, head shaving food to the departed souls) also sees the bathing. Laundry and the Cremations of the dead that take place here on the banks of the river. After the boat ride walk through the fascinating narrow twisting lanes of the city to watch the performance of various Hindu rituals by the pilgrims. After the boat trip on the Ganges we return back to the hotel. After breakfast we will proceed for a city tour Visiting Bharat Mata Temple, Vishweshwara Temple and Benares Hindu University.

Day 5: Varanasi – Bodhgaya (By Private Car)
After breakfast leave by private car for Bodhgaya, upon arrival at Bodhgaya check in at your pre-booked Hotel.
Bodhgaya : is one of the most important and sacred Buddhist pilgrimage center in the world. It was here under a banyan tree, the Bodhi Tree, Gautama attained supreme knowledge to become Buddha,the Enlightened One. Born in the foot hills of the Himalayas as a Sakya prince of Kapilvastu (now in Nepal).
Several centuries after Buddha's passing away, the Maurya Emperor Ashoka (234-198 BC) contributed tremendously towards the revival, consolidation and spread of the original religion. It is the monasteries, Ashoka built for the Buddhist monks and the pillars known as Ashokan Pillars erected to commemorate innumerable historical sites associated with the Buddha's life, mostly intact to this day, that helped scholars and pilgrims alike to trace the life events and preaching of a truly extraordinary man. There is a magnificent Mahabodhi temple and the Tree from the original sapling still stands in the temple premises. The temple is an architectural amalgamation of many centuries, cultures and heritages. While its architecture has a distinct stamp of the Gupta era, it has later ages inscriptions describing visits of pilgrims from Sri Lanka, Myanmar and China between 7th and 10th century AD. It is perhaps still the same temple Hieuen Tsang visited in 7th century.

Day 6: Bodhgaya
After breakfast day is free to visit different monasteries in Bodhgaya & meditation under Bodhi Tree.

Day 7 Ragjir - Nalanda - Patna (By Private Car)
After Breakfast drive to Patna enroute visit Nalanda & Rajgir. Rajgir -The picturesque Rajgir, or Rajagriha as it was known in the past (literally, the abode of kings) is surrounded by the meandering river Banganga and 5 hills. During the lifetime of the Buddha this was the capital of the powerful Magadhan kingdom, ruled by the virtuous King Bimbisara. The hills and caves surrounding Rajagriha were home to spiritual teachers, ranging from the materialism of the early Charavaka school to the metaphysics of Upanishadic philosophers. Like many others in search of truth, Prince Siddhartha, after he renounced his royal heritage came to this city to seek the path of salvation. Nalanda was the most renowned university in ancient India. It derived its name from Na-alam-da, meaning Insatiable in Giving, one of the names by which the Lord Buddha was known. Later continue the drive to Patna, upon arrival at Patna check in at your pre-booked hotel.

Day 8 Patna - Vaishali - Kushinagar (By Private Car)
After breakfast drive to Kushinagar,Kushinagar is where the Buddha finally attained Mahaparmirvana. Amongst the ruins are the Mukutbandhan Stupa and a beautiful statue of the reclining Buddha enroute visiting Vaishali. Day 9 Kushinagar- Lumbini (By Private Car)
After breakfast visit the Mahaparinirvana Temple & Stupas , later drive to Lumbini ( Nepal), upon arrival at Lumbini check in at your pre-booked hotel. Lumbini - the birthplace of the Buddha, was located in 1890 after being untraced for 1,500 years. Evening sightseeing tour of Lumbini including a visit to the birth Place of Lord Buddha. Day 10 Lumbini - Sravasti (By Private Car)
After breakfast drive to Lucknow enroute Sravasti - the capital of the ancient kingdom of Kosala, has the honour for sheltering Buddha for 24 rainy seasons in the Jetvana Gardens. The city believed to be founded by the mythological king Sravasti, has age-old stupas, majestic monasteries and several temples. Buddha is said to have performed some miracles here. In Sravasti visit Saheth - Maheth & Jetvan. Overnight at the Hotel
Day 11 Sravasti - Lucknow - Lucknow – Delhi (By Train)
After breakfast leave by private car for Lucknow, Upon arrival at Lucknow you are transferred to Lucknow railway station to board train for Delhi.
