There are many layers to Delhi, a city that has been the seat of many rulers over the centuries. We start our journey through this vibrant metropolis, a curator of cultures. The first stop is the iconic Qutab Minar, the tallest minaret in the world. Towering elegantly over ancient Delhi, over 73 meters high, it stands like a sentinel over Delhi. From here we visit the the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Humayun's Tomb, a timeless mausoleum of incredible beauty. A visit to Delhi is incomplete without enjoying the pleasures of its lush, scented Mughal Garden. It's time to enter colonial Delhi. You will visit Lutyens' Delhi, glimpsing the seat of power of modern India. Drive by plush colonial style homes; the Presidential Residence - Rashtrapati Bhavan; and pay homage at the eternal flame flickering at the martyr's memorial at India Gate.
From white colonial era buildings, enter a vibrant, colorful and ancient world in Delhi's Old City, where time has lingered infinitely. Explore its hidden secrets before making way to India's largest mosque, the exquisitely designed Jama Masjid. Hop onto a cycle rickshaw to explore the narrow alleyways. Don't forget to feast on local culinary delights in Chandni Chowk or the Moonlit Square. Savor on lip smacking parathas, sweets, chaat, and pakodas. This area is also perfect for shopping. Colorful glass bangles, traditional clothes and sparkling bindis and trinkets are must buys.
Spend the evening around Connaught Place, developed during the Raj as the city's Central Business District. Admire its Georgian architecture, spend time in the innumerable shops, and have a bite or two before you return to the hotel for the night.
Day 03 Depart Delhi, arrive Khajuraho

Post breakfast the Pearl Luxe representative will escort you to the domestic airport where you will board a flight to Khajuraho that lies in the state of Madhya Pradesh. Famed for their sensual sculptures, the Khajuraho Group of Monuments are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The glorious temple complex was built under the patronage of the Chandela Rajput Kings. As per legend, the creators of Khajuraho were descendants of the moon dynasty. Out of the 85 temples built, only 22 survive today. Poetry in stone, the monuments are divided into three broad groups, the western group of temples being the most prominent. On arrival, our representative will greet you at the airport and escort you to Hotel Jass Radisson. That evening, visit the powerful sound-and-light show that takes place in the western complex. It traces the history of the temples from their days of glory till the present day. The baritone of iconic actor Amitabh Bachchan, narrating the story of these 10th century temples, adds to their fascinating myth. And, in the darkness, under the moonlight, the temples whisper secrets to you of their erotic past.

Each bough and shrub has a story to tell. Hear of the valor of Lapsi Shikari or a hunter, who valiantly fought a tiger. People speak of Bansi, who was chased by a fearless tiger cub.
